Space-planning solutions

The house is located in the Tambov region, and because the plot slopes down towards the Tsna river, it has quite a steep terrain along its entire length. Despite the slope, it was almost possible to avoid internal staircases: there is a staircase only in the garage, since the garage floor level is higher than the floor level of the main part of the house.
The house includes a kitchen–living room, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a laundry room, a study, an entrance hall, walk-in wardrobes, a garage and a boiler room. The house is composed of three spatial–functional blocks:
  • the private part, consisting of bedrooms, wardrobe and bathrooms,
  • the public part — kitchen–living room, entrance hall, wardrobe next to it, study and pantry,
  • and the technical part — garage with boiler room.

Façade

This is a concrete house in a minimalist style. The façades have a strict geometric form and are made of white architectural concrete panels. The wooden ceiling of the terrace continues into the interior. The result is a white minimalist house.

Terraces

The house has a large terrace facing the Tsna river. On one side the terrace continues as a gallery and connects to the staircase leading to the entrance. All rooms are also oriented towards the river. A small summer kitchen is located on the terrace. A concrete staircase from the terrace descends to the river and to the landing stage.
